INSTRUCTIONS TO PARENTS

  • Parents must come to school on all open days to know more about their ward’s performance.
  • Report cards and Answer scripts should be signed by the parent.
  • Parents or Guardians who wish to contact their wards in school should do so only through the Principal.
  • Parents /Guardians should go through the almanac of their wards every day and affix the signature daily without fail.
  • Parents who wish to make complaints should do so to the principal and not the class teacher.
  • Kids’ grooming needs to be given special attention. Regular nail cut and hairs grooming ought to be done.
  • Students will not be permitted to go home from school during class hours.
  • Any holiday is declared for K.K.Dt by the Government in the TV or Newspaper, it is a holiday.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

  • Students, who come to school on their own should arrive well before the reporting time (9.15AM).
  • All students must carry their School Almanac and Identity card to school every day.
  • Students should not leave the school campus during class hours without the permission of the principal.
  • Students should converse only in English inside the school premises.
  • No leave of absence will be granted except on previous written application from the parent or guardian to the Principal.
  • Students must get the permission of the Facilitator to leave the class room during the session.
  • Students will be suspended or dismissed from the roll for irregular attendance, indiscipline and other reprehensible behavior.
  • Students are requested to keep their class room and school campus clean. Any kind of damage done to the property of the school must be made good.
  • Students suffering from contagious or infectious disease will not be permitted to attend the school.
  • Students are not allowed to receive visitors or leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  • Students absenting themselves for examination will be considered as having failed. Re examination will not be Conducted.
  • Any change of address should be intimated to the school office immediately.
  • The students shall always bear in mind to uphold the good name of the institution by observing proper conduct inside and outside the School premises.
  • Students are forbidden to purchase articles of food and other items from vendors outside the school.
  • Every student must take part in games and other co curricular activities of the school.
  • Students must not bring to school any material other than what is needed for the academics. Palm Top, Calculator, toy, knife, lighter, binocular, camera, walkman, cellular phones, journals, magazines, comics and other such things are strictly forbidden.
  • Nobody should bring snacks to school except Pre.KG, J.K.G & S.K.G without permission.
  • Bullying, ragging, and extortion are prohibited .There is no violence at any time.
  • There should be no distinction in terms of religion, caste, income group, region, color, creed etc.

DRESS AND APPEARANCE

  • Students are expected to dress and behave in a manner appropriate to the membership of the school and are required to be neat and clean in their general appearance.
  • If a student is unable to wear his/her uniform, special permission needs to be taken from the class teacher.
  • Students must wear polished black shoes.
  • Nobody should wear meganthi or nail polish or do any decorations of that sort.
  • Students should not grow nails.
  • Boys should have their hair cut short and be clean shaven.
  • Students are not permitted to wear gold / precious ornaments, fancy watch, wrist bands or similar accessories. The school shall not take the responsibility of any loss / damage.

Assembly

Morning Assembly is a thing that is supposed to freshen everybody and fill everyone with enthusiasm for the rest of the day. It includes Prayer Song, School Prayer, Thought for the day, Today’s Information, Amazing Facts, Etiquette, Chitter Chatter, Indru Oru Kural, Hindi Kahavath, Traffic Rules, Proverbs and National Anthem.

House System

Each student of the school is a member of one of the four Houses, i.e., Ruby, Emerald, Topaz and Sapphire. The House System is an integral part of public school, and helps in coordinating various activities, and leads to the building up of an esprit de corps and camaraderie of a lasting nature among students. Each House is placed under a House Mistress who is directly responsible for the discipline and general well-being of the members of the House.

Regular Inter-House competitions are held throughout the year in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which foster healthy competitive spirit.

Clubs

Victory Public School encourages students to participate in a wide-range of clubs in schools like Literary Club, Science Club, Mathematics Club, Health and Wellness Club, ECO club etc. Each Club is a community where students engage in continuous learning and VPS supports them in finding their unique potential.

Field Trips

Field trips are to provide experiential learning (application of principles and concepts learnt for multiple subjects), holistic development (physical, social and emotional).

Indoor and Outdoor Games

Table Tennis, Carom, Chess etc are the regularly played indoor games in the school. The players are getting trained under the supervision of expert coaches. In sports, we recommend football, basketball, volleyball, Kho Kho and badminton (apart from indoor sports like Table Tennis, Chess and Carom).
